Identity & access

Who and what can reach each resource?

In cloud environments, identity and network access are deeply intertwined, but managed by different teams with different tools and no shared view. Service accounts accumulate permissions, cross-account role chains grow, and offboarding leaves access behind. Skyreach Orion correlates IAM with your network topology to surface the full picture.

  • IAM policies ingested across all cloud accounts
  • Correlated with network topology for combined access view
  • Over-privilege detection across service accounts and users
  • Cross-account role assumption chain visibility

The problem organisations face

In cloud environments, identity and network access are deeply intertwined, but they're typically managed by different teams with different tools and no shared view.

Service accounts accumulate excessive permissions

Microservices, automation pipelines, and deployment tools each get IAM roles that grow over time. Least-privilege principles are set at creation and never revisited. The result: service accounts that can do far more than they need to.

Network and identity are siloed

A resource might be correctly firewalled but accessible via an over-privileged managed identity. Or correctly access-controlled by IAM but reachable via an unintended network path. You can't see the full picture from either tool alone.

Cross-account access is hard to audit

Role assumption chains and cross-account trust relationships can create access paths that are invisible to tools that only look within a single account. These are the paths attackers use for lateral movement after gaining an initial foothold.

Offboarding leaves ghost access behind

When engineers leave or change roles, their service accounts and role bindings often remain. Without a complete, current view of who has access to what, cleanup is incomplete.

What you get

  • Over-privilege detection

Automatically identify service accounts and user identities with permissions beyond what they demonstrably need, across all connected cloud accounts.

  • Cross-account access path visibility

Trace role assumption chains and cross-account trust relationships to reveal identity-based lateral movement paths that single-account tools miss entirely.

  • Network + identity combined view

See which identities have both the IAM permission and the network path to reach a sensitive resource, the combination that creates real risk.

  • Access review support

Periodic access reviews are faster and more accurate when the data is live. Skyreach Orion gives you a current, complete picture of who has access to what, not a snapshot from last quarter.
